Culinary Arts: Cooking Our Way Through Europe

One of the most requested electives our students pick during ACA’s Nice, Barcelona, and Florence summer programs is learning how to cook. Not only do they learn how to create popular dishes, they also learn a little history about how these recipes came to be.

Barcelona has a vibrant, colorful culture and amazing cuisine. During these classes, students learn a few kitchen fundamentals that will have everyone in their family yelling, “Yes Chef!” at their next holiday dinner.

We scout out the best Spanish Chefs who know how to satisfy big Barcelona appetites. The best part, enjoying the food you make. Students are prepped ahead of time to come hungry.

How about measuring up to the incredible kitchen accomplishments of the most talented Italian Chefs? Think “Chopped” or “Top Chef” style. This is where students find out.

ACA partners with Cordon Bleu, learning culinary mastery at its finest from top Italian Chefs who know how to please the palettes of the locals and tourists in Florence.

This cooking experience is a unique opportunity to train with culinary instructors from France, Spain, and Italy – preparing truly gourmet and authentic meals. Bon Apetito!
