Get ready for a summer like no other with ACA Summer’s new pre-college program at the University of Michigan! Set in the vibrant city of Ann Arbor, this program combines academic enrichment, exciting activities, and a true taste of college life at one of the nation’s most prestigious universities.

Why Ann Arbor?

Ann Arbor is a quintessential college town: energetic, welcoming, and packed with opportunities. It blends the cultural depth of a big city with the charm and walkability of a smaller community. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby parks, trails, and rivers perfect for biking, kayaking, or hiking. Summer in Ann Arbor also brings festivals, events, and the lively buzz of a student-centered community. Whether you’re paddling down the Huron River, exploring the Nichols Arboretum, or enjoying a local concert, Ann Arbor offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable summer.

The ACA Summer Advantage

At the heart of ACA’s Michigan pre-college program are the signature enrichment electives that help students grow academically, intellectually, and personally. You’ll take two electives daily, choosing from popular courses like Advertising & Marketing, CSI, Intro to Psychology, Community Service, and more! Courses are taught in a supportive, interactive seminar style by instructors hired specifically for ACA Summer programs.

There are no grades or stressful exams and every student earns a Certificate of Achievement upon completion. This approach creates the freedom to explore new passions, practice creativity, or sharpen your problem-solving skills without the pressure of a traditional classroom.

Campus Life at Michigan

The University of Michigan is renowned for its academics, research, spirited traditions, and you’ll get to experience it all firsthand! Students live in on-campus residence halls featuring deluxe rooms with WiFi, air conditioning, linen service, and comfortable lounge and study areas.
