“We are so excited to hear about your experience in Malibu this summer! What was your highlights from this summer?
Giselle: Going to Universal Studios, that was really fun!
Stella: It’s hard for me to decide one favorite part, but I think I just enjoyed how everyday we would get to go to an activity. All of them were so fun! I loved surfing and going shopping. It was really fun getting to do a new activity everyday and see all of Malibu and LA!
Piper: Yeah I agree! Honestly, I feel like there were so many moments in the trip that were so enjoyable! I couldn’t choose just one, but going to Universal was definitely one of my favorites, and I also really loved surfing because, you know, I’ve never done that before.
Were there any really special moments that stood out to do?
Stella: It was really special for me to meet Giselle and Piper. I loved that!
Giselle: The car rides were so fun! We would always play music and sing, and it was just fun to hang out with everyone.
Piper: I feel like all the connections we made were so nice. I’m still talking to all the people I met, even the counselors. I didn’t know Giselle or Stella before the program, and it was so fun to meet them. We have stayed in touch and text a lot. I was just at a dinner this weekend with one of the other girls that was on the program too.
We love seeing our students form such special friendships and bonds. If someone were thinking about coming to one of our programs, what advice or suggestions would you say to them?
Piper: I would say just totally do it! I know for me, I was a little nervous just not knowing anyone else, but no one else is really knowing anyone either so everyone is just coming there to have a good time and meet new people so honestly I wouldn’t even hesitate because it’s just so much fun!
Giselle: Yeah, just definitely do it! It’s such a good experience. You meet so many nice people, and it is really fun. I miss it so much!!
Stella: Yeah, I agree with them. If you are thinking about it, just do it!
Piper: You also get to be in California! Who doesn’t want to be in Malibu?!
Giselle: Yeah, the weather is amazing there too!
Are you interested in joining another program with ACA in the future?
Giselle: Yes definitely!
Piper: We have already been planning on a Europe tour next summer. We’ve already been planning it and everything!
What parts look fun to you on the Europe programs?
Giselle: Pasta making looks really fun, and I see people in Greece going on the boat day. That looks really fun! And just being able to explore Europe with all my friends!
Piper: Yeah, all of the summer highlights you guys have been posting on instagram look so fun! The boat rides and pasta and exploring Rome and Spain and everything!
