College Park Aviation Museum

The College Park Aviation Museum is dedicated to preserving and promoting aviation innovations at College Park Airport and in Prince George’s County while fostering research, inventiveness, and lifelong curiosity about the history and science of flight.

The museum is a 27,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility located on the grounds of the world’s oldest continuously operating airport in College Park, Maryland. Visitors to the museum step into an open 1 1/2 story exhibit space, which highlights the display of unique aircraft and artifacts and tells the story of the airport’s many firsts in flight to today.

Big Escape Rooms

Escape games are adventures in which players find clues, crack codes and use their sleuth prowess to solve a series of puzzles within 60 minutes to escape a themed room. With the clock counting down, you may make it, you may not.  But one thing is for sure.  You’re going to have fun! There are 4 rooms – Outbreak (high difficulty), Clown (medium difficulty), Pharaoh (high difficulty), Basketball (beginner).

Lake Artemesia

This  public park consists of a 38-acre lake, a handicapped accessible fishing pier, and aquatic gardens. More than two miles of hiker-biker trails surround and connect the lake with Calvert Road Park and College Park Airport and Aviation Museum. Lake Artemesia is a great place for fishing. A non-tidal fishing license is required for persons 16 & older. In addition, a trout stamp is required to catch-and-take trout from the lake.

The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center

The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center is creating the NextNOW. They are building the future of the arts by educating, training and presenting the next generation of artists and creative innovators. The Clarice is in the College of Arts and Humanities at the University of Maryland. As part of a major public research university, The Clarice is committed to collaboration and the creation and support of new work that further advances our knowledge and understanding, working in its creative radius.

Riversdale House Museum

This National Historic Landmark and architectural gem has over 200 years of stories to tell. The letters of Rosalie Stier Calvert, mistress of Riversdale, provides the primary source of interpretation.

Buddy Attick Lake Park

A picturesque 23 acre lake is the focal point of this attractive Greenbelt amenity. A dirt and stone path winds its way through the woods and around the lake, perfect for passive recreational activities. The path around the lake is approximately 1.25 miles long.

Also included are picnic pavilions with grills, tables and benches, a paved court area, tot lot, and playground, and restrooms.

Greenbelt Museum

The Greenbelt Museum provides a gateway to the rich history and living legacy of Greenbelt, Maryland, an experimental cooperative community created in 1937 by Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal administration. The Museum offers tours of an original historic home, exhibits, public programs, educational programs for children, and walking tours of the historic town to visitors and the community.

Go Kart Track

Where racing fun begins for ages 8 to 80 years old. You can get 7 laps of racing for $7. Guests can race in a single or double-seated kart. Work together as a team in double-seated racing, becoming a driver and crew chief combination.

The Fillmore Silver Spring
