ACA's Summer Staff
We pride ourselves on our dynamic and experienced leadership staff. Through a rigorous selection process, we seek out people who are not only dedicated and responsible, but also fun, friendly and energetic.
All of our directors and head counselors are at least 21 years of age. Having worked extensively with high school and middle school students in the past, they genuinely look forward to their summers with ACA.
Each member of our team works tirelessly throughout the program, serving as a mentor, advisor and friend to all of our students. We work hard to create a warm, supportive family atmosphere, one in which ACA students are treated as young adults whose opinions and concerns truly matter.
During the program, individual staff members concentrate on a specific small group of students to better ensure that every student gets the attention he or she deserves. This personalized approach is a big reason why ACA enjoys such popularity among students and parents and why ACA is considered by many to be the best pre-collegiate program.
Welcome,
The inspiration for American Collegiate Adventures came from my own experiences in high school and college. I felt that students ready to move from high school to college would get so much out of the experience if they simply had a chance to test the waters.
I felt that a well-designed summer program run by highly qualified educational experts and professionals could boost the confidence and comfort of high school students on the verge of new academic and social challenges. The idea has been the guiding philosophy of ACA since our beginning 31 years ago.
It is my hope that every ACA student returns from our summer programs with a greater understanding of the opportunities ahead and a true appreciation of future friendships and new experiences. And of course, I want everyone to have plenty of fun in the process! With ACA, I really think we’ve found a way to give students a good look at college life, a way to grow and learn, and plenty of time to have an awesome summer experience.
